I was motivated to become a social worker when my grandmother became ill of dementia. Assisting her in her daily activities and medication propelled me to further volunteer and started me in a career in disability support. I enjoy knowing I have an impact in peoples lives directly being a compassionate person myself My passions include music, physical fitness and learning and educating others on mental health. I have skills in providing mental and physical disability support and my hobbies include playing guitar and watching movies. I have been working in the disability industry for over a year, a time which has advanced my understanding and professional skills to work as a professional carer.
