I want to become a social carer as I am passionate about helping others and making a meaningful difference in their life. I want to be able to not only care for individuals, but also create strong connections and have people feel safe with me. I feel drawn to offering emotional support and a friendly presence to those who need it. I am aware that small actions that I do for others makes their day, and knowing my gestures make a difference makes me feel joyful. I believe I would be excellent at social care as I am naturally a kind, empathetic and patient person who is attentive to others. I am a good listener who always responds calmly in all situations. I am a clear communicator and will always approach individuals with a warm and friendly manner. My passions and hobbies include staying active, such as going to the gym, going on walks and playing basketball. I also enjoy reading at times and I have a passion to do nursing and midwifery once I complete my studies. Something interesting about me is that I am a nursing and midwifery student, which has also influenced me in wanting to become a social carer as I enjoy helping others and building real connections with the individuals I care for.
