About me

I wanted to become a Social Carer because I believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, especially during life’s most vulnerable moments. My journey began with a deep calling to serve others through faith, compassion, and practical care. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals living with disability, mental health challenges, and trauma, and I’ve seen firsthand how consistent, person-centred support can restore dignity and transform lives. I bring a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach to everything I do. My background in disability and mental health support, combined with ongoing studies in Community Services, has equipped me with strong skills in communication, reflective practice, and ethical care. I’m confident in my ability to simplify complex needs, advocate for clients, and build trust through empathy and professionalism. What makes me good at this work isn’t just my training, it’s my heart. I’m grounded in faith, motivated by service, and committed to empowering others to live with purpose and connection. Whether I’m supporting someone through daily routines or helping them navigate major transitions, I show up with respect, reliability, and genuine care. Some of my hobbies include running, walking, or hiking outdoors in nature. I find peace and energy in fresh air and open spaces, especially when I can reflect or pray while moving. I also enjoy cleaning and organizing—it gives me a sense of calm and purpose, and I love creating welcoming environments for others. Sharing meals with family and friends is one of my greatest joys. Whether it’s a simple dish or a cultural feast, food brings people together and reminds me of the power of community. I’m passionate about supporting others through faith-based care, trauma-informed practice, and inclusive program design. I bring strong skills in empathetic communication, reflective documentation, and practical problem-solving. I love working with diverse communities, especially multicultural youth and women, and I’m committed to making support services feel safe, empowering, and culturally respectful. An interesting fact about me is that I find joy in helping others feel seen, safe, and valued. Whether it’s through my work, studies, or community service, I’m always looking for ways to uplift and empower those around me
