Hi my name is Abby, I live in Mount Martha Victoria , and I am an support worker.I have worked in the education department for over 12 years caring for children over many different backgrounds. I am patient and have a great deal of passion for caring for others. I have a lot of energy and motivation, I believe everyone should be given the opportunity to achieve their goals, hence why I have such passion for social support 5 traits that I feel are very important are Social Justice Awareness. Objectivity. Empathy. Resiliency / Self-Care Skills. Professionalism I would love take them for a walk in nature When you spend time in nature, stress levels have been shown to decrease when in nature. I have two children and over years I have had my home filled with their friends and mine. I have done work experience in a few aged cares on the Peninsula , where I enjoyed meeting the needs of residents and working alongside other staff. I have also had several office and customer service roles which involved much communication and relating to others. I have a licence and car, so can drive clients to appointments, to parks, shops, movies, play board games etc. I am a good listener and have developed skills in both listening and giving some counsel or advice in necessary situations. (without stepping outside of acceptable boundaries of course) I can cook meals or make tasty lunch wraps or sandwiches etc.
