I love working with people and making a positive change in their lives. Even though I am an only child, my mother always encouraged me to help others. Since I was a kid, I listened to my friends empathetically whenever they are in need. I chose to study Psychology after years of studying Mathemtaics because I knew that helping people is my passion. I have worked with a lot of underprivileged kids in Sri Lanka, Africa and the USA. I have also worked with people with depression, ADHD, and other psychological disorders as a call taker. I always make sure to keep a smile on their face whenever I work with them. They have appreciated me for being so empathetic and kind. Even my supervisors have appreciated me for being understanding and natural at communicating with those people. Otherthan work related to psychology, I have a passion for music. I have been studying music since I was 7 years old. Moreover, I have a passion for cooking and fitness. I assure that I can bring my best self to work and help people to make a positive change in their life. I am so interested in listening to others and making them happy! As I have a passion for fitness and cooking, I can share my experience with someone in the community about healthy eating and reducing weight. If they are interested, I can share some recipes and cook with them and make it a fun experience for both of us. We can do some basic exercises together with some fun music for relaxation and fun! We can sing together while cooking and exercising as well.
