I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and ages and feel comfortable doing it. During my professional career I enjoyed connecting with people and made friendships that extended beyond the work environment. I consider myself empathetic and compassionate when dealing with people.
My dad had a stroke before we came to Australia in 1990, he was home for many years before he moved a to nursing home. During this time, I was helping my mom with care duties, and when he moved to a nursing home, I visited him every other day to take moms food to him and took him out every Sunday to be with family, so he does not feel left out. Mom and Dad were also members of the Dixon Unit in Ryde, they were involved in the weekly activities every Thursday, and sometimes were taken away for weekends to Jerrawa. This continued even after Dad passed away in 2001, after which I visited mom every day after work as I lived close to her. When she could not cook, I started cooking for both of us, luckily I like cooking and learned a lot from Mom before she stopped cooking. Mom passed away 2014.
Activities I enjoy:
1- Companionship: Chat , play board or card games, watch TV or a movie at home
2- Grocery Shopping
3- Meal Perpetration: I enjoy cooking, I can cook middle eastern dishes and also many popular local dishes, like roast, spaghetti, chicken and vegetables, soups, etc. I can prepare vegetarian meals too.

4- Light house work - tidying up,
5- Walk in the park, or at the beach , or bush walking.
6- Take the dog for a walk
7- Help with how to use a Computer, Tablet, Internet access, iPhone, emails
I am learning Hebrew at the moment.
