I wanted to become a Social Carer because caring for others has always been part of who I am. I genuinely enjoy supporting people to feel safe, valued and independent in their own homes. As a mother and someone who has worked closely with people from different backgrounds, I understand how important patience, kindness and reliability are. I believe I will be good at it because I am naturally compassionate, calm and organised. I listen carefully, respect people’s routines, and treat every person with dignity. I take my responsibilities seriously and always aim to create a positive and comfortable environment for the people I support. Some of my hobbies include cooking, organising spaces, going for walks, and spending quality time with family. I enjoy creating clean and comfortable environments, as I believe our surroundings affect our wellbeing. I am passionate about helping others live meaningful lives. My skills include personal care support, household assistance, companionship, meal preparation and emotional support. I am also reliable, punctual and good at communicating with both clients and families. An interesting fact about me is that I come from a strong community background and truly value connection and respect. I understand how important it is to build trust, especially when supporting someone in their home. I am adaptable, culturally sensitive and always willing to learn to better meet individual needs.
