About

I was motivated to become a Social Carer because I have always had a strong desire to help others and make a positive difference in people’s lives. Supporting individuals to live independently and reach their personal goals is something I find deeply rewarding. I believe that everyone deserves respect, compassion, and the opportunity to be heard—and being a carer allows me to provide that support every day. I think I will be good at this role because I’m patient, empathetic, and a good listener. I take time to understand each person’s unique needs and provide care that’s not only practical but also emotionally supportive. I’m reliable, calm under pressure, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure those I support feel valued and safe. My natural ability to build trust and communicate effectively helps me create strong, positive relationships with both clients and colleagues. I’m a creative person who enjoys expressing myself through writing and storytelling. I’ve always had a natural talent for English and love using words to connect with others or explore new ideas. Before working in care, I trained and worked as a beauty therapist, which strengthened my attention to detail and my ability to make people feel comfortable and confident in themselves. Self-care and wellbeing are really important to me, and I enjoy learning about different ways to promote a healthy mind and body. In my spare time, I like doing creative projects, writing stories, and finding new ways to bring positivity and calm into everyday life. I have an Undergraduate Certificate in Psychology and a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, which have both strengthened my understanding of people, communication, and wellbeing. My psychology studies gave me insight into behaviour and mental health, while beauty therapy taught me empathy, patience, and how to help others feel cared for and confident. Living in a neurodiverse family, including myself, has given me a deep appreciation for individuality and the importance of understanding and flexibility when supporting others. I’m a creative person who enjoys writing and expressing ideas through stories. I’m calm, reliable, and compassionate, and I take pride in helping people feel supported and valued.
