About

I'm the type of support worker who finds joy in the small things—whether it's watching a client light up when they finally declutter a space they've been avoiding, or sharing a quiet cuppa and good laugh during a garden break. I am grounded, warm, and intuitive approach to everything I do. I’m the “OCD organiser” friend who loves structure but always brings a gentle energy. I’ve raised two boys (one with Down Syndrome and ADHD) and cared for my father with dementia through his final years, so patience, empathy, and respect are second nature to me. I come with a background in Psychology and Counselling, with additional training in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Psychosomatic Therapy. I’m trauma-informed, calm in crisis, and deeply person-centred in my approach. I previously ran my own real estate business and worked as a secretary, so I know how to juggle tasks, manage sensitive matters, and connect with people of all backgrounds. I'm a calm, thoughtful support person with a nurturing spirit. I tend to work best with those who value warmth, gentle humour, and grounded presence. I’m intuitive and deeply attuned to people’s energy—some of my clients say I “just get it” without having to say too much. I'm more relaxed than rigid, but I love a good to-do list and find satisfaction in ticking things off together. I’m based in Vermont South and happy to travel up to 30-35 minutes from home. I have my own car, full licence, and a great sense of direction (unless the GPS gets cheeky!). I’m currently available weekdays, and flexible on weekends with notice. You’ll usually find me sketching, painting, or covered in flour from trying a new recipe. I’m big on personal development and mindfulness, and I meditate daily to stay grounded. I’m also a gym-goer (3–4 times a week), a nature wanderer, and a bit of a documentary nerd. I adore animals—I’ve had two dogs in the past and now have two cats who rule the house. Gardening became my therapy after losing my dad—it helped me find peace while grieving, and now I’ve got a not-so-secret green thumb. I’m also multilingual: fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hakka. I’m generally fit and energetic, but I won’t be the best fit for high physical-lifting roles (i.e. heavy transfers without equipment). I’ll always communicate clearly if something feels unsafe or beyond my capacity. One of my favourite moments was seeing a client’s face light up after we worked together to bring order and calm to his space. He had been overwhelmed for a long time, and by the time we finished, his home was sparkling clean and smelt fresh and inviting. He stood back, looked around, and simply said, “I can finally breathe again.” The joy and relief in that moment reminded me just how powerful a clean, peaceful environment can be—and how proud I am to help create it.
