I am a caring and compassionate person, currently enrolled in nursing. I have completed placements and have also worked previously as NDIS Disability Support worker. I have gained theoretical and practical knowledge and have achieved goals and met standards to provide best person centered care. I have experience in handling clients with mental and challenging behaviours such as Schizophrenia, dementia etc. Moreover i have provided help with ADLs to clients/ residents, such as toileting, showering, feeding, catheter care, incontinence management etc. I have also been providing community access in my previous role ( taking out for shopping, appointments etc.) I am focused and serious about working in a healthcare setting or field because i have been always empathetic and wanted to do something for people who are facing physical or mental disabilities, so that i can make a genuine and bright impact in their lives.
