I wanted to become a Social Carer because I enjoy interacting with people and help them engage in the things they want to do. I am compassionate and caring by nature, a good listener with the ability to build a rapport with others. I'm married with two adult children. I enjoy travelling and exploring new places. I love to op-shop and score a good bargain. I'm very much into coffee, and enjoy live music. I have expertise in personalized client care, support on community outings, local, interstate and international holidays. Skilled in administering medications, tracking behaviours and helping clients manage their money for bill payment, outing and holiday expenses. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and ethical considerations related to client privacy and consent. An interesting fact about me is that I have 10 years of experience in providing comprehensive disability support. In my previous roles, I successfully assisted individuals with disabilities in daily activities and vacation support, including personal care, medication management, and emotional support. I am dedicated to ensuring the well-being of my clients and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
