About

I’m a provisional psychologist who recently completed a Master of Psychological Practice and am now beginning my internship year. Through both my studies and past work, I’ve supported people with physical, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities. I take a listen-to-understand approach, and always aim to tailor support in a way that respects your values, culture, and preferences. Caring roles have always felt natural to me. I genuinely enjoy getting to know what’s important to you and finding ways to support you in living your best life. I’m open and friendly with a curious, kind and calm nature that helps the people I work with feel comfortable, safe, and free to be themselves. I place a strong emphasis on clear communication, healthy boundaries, and emotional regulation; skills that help me navigate challenging moments with patience and compassion. Outside of work, I love all things creative. I used to work in the arts, and I still adore the theatre and watching films with friends and family. I’m also passionate about being outdoors. Walking and swimming at the beach with my dog, family and friends is my favourite summer pastime. I enjoy social tennis with friends and am keen to try pickleball soon because it looks like great fun. I began support work many years ago as a volunteer live-theatre audio describer for clients who were blind or had low vision, and that experience sparked my passion for helping others.
