About

I wanted to become a Social Carer because I genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their daily lives. Over the past 4+ years, I have worked in disability, aged care, SIL/SDA homes, and community settings, which has strengthened my passion for supporting vulnerable individuals with dignity and respect. I believe I am good at this role because I am patient, understanding, and emotionally resilient. I can handle challenging situations calmly and always focus on providing person-centred care. I build strong, trusting relationships with participants and support them to become more independent and confident. My key skills include personal care, manual handling, medication assistance, community access, and strong communication. I am reliable, hardworking, and able to adapt to different participant needs. I also have a background in hospitality, and I love cooking. I enjoy preparing meals and helping participants with meal planning and daily living skills, which can make a big difference in their routine and wellbeing. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, driving, exploring new places, and spending time with family.
