About
I really enjoy the social aspect of the work, getting to know someone and learn about their hobbies and interests, as an overall curious person I find myself also often interested in a lot of the same areas. On top of companionship, I also enjoy getting to provide meaningful care, and this job is a way to do both. I love anything to do with sport, whether it be playing or watching. My favourite sports include AFL, cricket and motorsport (Formula 1 and Supercars). I don't play anything any more but still love getting down to the oval for a kick and run around when I can. My other interests include music (listening to it, I unfortunately have no talent for playing!) and getting into the outdoors. I first did social care work about 10 years ago. Since then, I've been working as a writer in advertising, but I've always wanted to come back to this field, so here I am!
