Hi, my name is Brooke and I’ve been supporting young people with disabilities for the last 8 years. I’m looking for a career change and the chance to work with adults from all walks of life. I operate from a place of empathy, strong communication, professionalism and positivity. For the past 4 years I have been assisting young adults in a high school setting, where I developed a passion for providing individualised support and helping students develop life skills and achieve goals. I realised the importance of not saying “no” but instead saying “how can we make this work?” In 2025 I’m studying a masters of counselling part time and am excited to learn more about this field. I also love cooking, going to gigs and live performances, spending time in nature and weightlifting. I’m a proud queer and non-binary person and am passionate about social issues and activism.
