About
I have a granddaughter Frankie aged 5 with level 3 autism and a niece Zoe aged 34 with an intellectual disability and I have played a caring and friend role for both, in particular my granddaughter who is our entire world. I was a hands on role to assist both my mother and father across 10 years of illness before they both passed and I am simply now looking to give some of myself back to the community especially those who need assistance in any daily activities and errands. I am fit and healthy, reliable and compassionate. Getting paid a certain rate or hours of work are not relevant to me at this stage of my life as my wife and I have security. I just want to be available to help those without financial funding or family members to assist them in living their lives to the fullest. In the process in sincerely hope I can build friendship and companionship along the journey. I am a frustrated golfer and play weekly with my 33-year-old son, I keep fit at the local gym and enjoy riding my bike with my wife around the Bellarine areas. We have started Pickleball in the Ocean Grove area. My skills are patience, compassion and 100% reliability. I have lived and life skills ready to enable others in the community. My brother in law is comedian Dave Hughes as an interesting fact.
