About

Hi my name is Armani :) I have experience in Ndis and a Cert 3 in Allied Health Assistance ! My hobbies : eating , fitness, reading , Arts and Crafts ! The reason why I was motivated to become a social carer is because I had always had a strong desire to assist others and leave a long lasting positive impact on their lives. After completing my qualification in CERT 3 HEALTH SERVICE ASSISTANCE at Victoria University Footscray and completing my placement hours at Western Health Sunshine Hospital. I was able to witness the challenges in which Individuals such as elderly and those with disabilities faced within those settings. This inspired me to pursue a career where I can assist them as well as improve their quality of life through compassion and understanding. I believe I can excel in this role for several reasons : 1. EMPATHY AND COMPASSION: In order to provide good quality care I believe that empathy and compassion is needed to understand the feelings and needs of Individuals making it easier to connect with them. 2. CONTINOUS LEARNING: I am committed to continuous learning because I believe that it will allow me to improve my skills and knowledge. This will enable me to also improve the daily living of the individual I am caring for. 3. STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS: I am able to build rapport with clients and individuals which enables them to trust me due to my strong listening [comprehension] skills as well. This may also help me build a strong relationship with the clients families as well. 4. PATIENCE: Being patient can assist me to remain supportive and calm when difficult circumstances occur. Helping me find a resolution that is practical and beneficial for the client. MY HOBBIES CONSISTS OF : 1. Reading - I love reading non fiction and fiction books. I also enjoy going to the library. 2. Fitness: I enjoy going for long walks and being outdoors. 3. Culinary explorer: I enjoy eating meals outdoors and have a love for cooking and visiting restaraunts.
