Through my Certificate III in Individual Support and my hands-on work as a Personal Care Assistant at Menarocklife and a Support Worker with Silverchain, I discovered how rewarding it is to provide care that improves someone’s daily life and well-being. My background in customer service also taught me to actively listen, communicate clearly, and resolve issues calmly — skills that transfer naturally into caring roles. I believe I will be good at this role because I am patient, empathetic, and able to stay calm under pressure while ensuring people feel safe, respected, and cared for. My years of working in customer-focused roles with American Express, United Airlines, and DoorDash trained me to stay professional and solution-focused, even in stressful situations. This background complements my current work in aged care and disability support, where patience, empathy, and clear communication are vital. I am also reliable, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning, with up-to-date certifications in First Aid, CPR, and NDIS requirements.
