About
I want to become a social carer because I am interested in making a difference in people's lives. I think that kindness, compassion and understanding are incredibly helpful for individuals in challenging circumstances. I think that non-judgement and listening to others' lived experiences are the tenets of good social caring. Another motivation toward social caring is the applicability of these skills toward a therapeutic career, which I am aiming toward. I am passionate about lifelong learning in psychology, and my studies in undergraduate psychology reflect this. I also enjoy listening to music, playing the trumpet, playing tennis, and socialising with others.
