I believe I would make a great Social Carer because over many years at work and as a parent, I have gained many handyman/maintenance skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. In particular, I have always enjoyed making connections and building relationships with people. I pride myself on my ability to listen to, and assess the needs of my clients. I am naturally patient and show empathy and respect. I am an excellent timekeeper. I am always well presented, friendly and approachable. I am hard working, motivated and reliable. At home, I have shared the home duties with my wife and as such, developed strong skills in food preparation, general housekeeping and caregiving. I have accompanied my own children to various social and sporting events. I also enjoy spending time at the gym and relaxing with my family. ^& ^&I can accompany a client to the gym and advise on personal fitness. I can engage a client in a game of cards.
