About
I’ve always had a natural drive to help others feel supported, safe, and valued—especially those who might not have strong support systems, are isolated or are vulnerable. After becoming a mother and raising my daughter on my own, I’ve developed even more empathy and patience, and I want to use those qualities to care for others. My background in pharmacy and beauty therapy taught me how meaningful it can be to listen, connect, and offer kindness, and I know I can bring that same compassion into social care Spending quality time with my daughter, especially going on adventures and trying new activities together. We regularly enjoy swimming, exploring the wildlife park, Bird World and Kryal Castle, and having fun at places like Bounce. I also love being out in nature, collecting items to create art, and taking part in local community events. Creative activities are a big passion of mine—whether it’s arts and crafts, making bracelets, doing makeup, or face painting, I enjoy anything that allows for imagination and fun. I have over 20 years of experience working in pharmacy, including many years in management, where I supported a wide range of clients within the community. This included individuals with physical and emotional needs, as well as people living with disabilities. I’ve developed strong communication, problem-solving, and people skills through years of direct customer care and community support. I am currently studying Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) through genU, with four core units already completed, and am committed to building a career focused on compassionate, person-centred care.
