About

I bring a unique blend of deep personal insight and professional expertise to my role as a Support Worker. Having raised two independent neurodivergent adult sons, I truly understand the importance of fostering autonomy while providing a safe, supportive environment. My background also includes five years as a formal Student Support Worker in high schools, giving me a solid foundation in educational and developmental support. Experience & Specialized Care I am highly confident in managing complex medical conditions and mobility needs. My experience includes: Physical & Neurological: Fibromyalgia, POTS, PTSD, Epilepsy (seizure management), and Chronic Migraines (including injection support). Mental Health & Neurodiversity: Autism, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. Lifestyle & Health: Expert management of dietary requirements (including varying levels of Gluten Intolerance). My Approach I’m a positive thinker who loves a laugh and a good story! I’m naturally chatty and friendly, but I’m also very mindful of the need for quiet, calm moments. I’m a dedicated advocate for my clients, helping them stay active and engaged in the community. Whether it’s a trip to the pool, museum, a library visit, a concert, a car show or even horse riding, I’m there to make sure the day is enjoyable and accessible. When I’m not working, I love live music, sports, fishing and reading. I am a non-smoker and offer a LGBTQIA+ friendly space for everyone I support.
