About

I’ve always had a strong desire to help others and make a positive impact in people’s lives. After supporting friends and family through challenges, I realized how rewarding it is to be there for someone and help them feel heard, valued, and supported. This naturally led me to a career in social care, where I can use my empathy, patience, and people skills every day. I believe I’ll be good at this role because I genuinely care about people’s wellbeing and take the time to understand their individual needs. I’m a good listener, reliable, and respectful of people’s differences. My personal and professional experiences have taught me how to stay calm under pressure, build trust quickly, and adapt to different situations all of which are key to providing meaningful support. I’m passionate about helping others and making a difference in people’s lives, especially in ways that promote inclusion, independence, and dignity. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and I’m known for being patient, empathetic, and dependable. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy baking, photography, and spending time outdoors with my family. I also love learning new things and developing my skills whether that’s through hands on experience or further training. These interests keep me grounded and help me bring creativity, calm, and focus to my work as a support person.
