Hi, my name is Rory, In the past I have most enjoyed work which involves helping people and/or getting to know them. I think one of the most important things one can do in their life is to be a positive influence in someone else's life, by supporting them to do the things they want to do and encouraging them to live the best life they can live. Depending on their interests, I would share my knowledge and enjoyment of the hobby with them. For example if they like Gardening, we could plant some seeds in pots or help with their gardening tasks, plan and make garden beds with borders or choose what to plant and find out the best plants for the location. I could help them with the maintenance of a garden and help them feel a sense of achievement by completing something they can see each day which would help their everyday well-being. If they enjoy watching Sport, we could go to a game and watch their favourite team play, engage in conversation about their favourite players, their team's current form, their hopes for their team's chances this season, things like that. If they like Art, we could go to galleries, or draw things together. If they like films, we could watch movies together discussing the characters, the story and their thoughts on the acting and the things they found interesting about the film, their favourite movies, actors, genres and directors.
