About

I am a compassionate and dedicated support worker with over 4 years disability support experience with participants of all ages. I am committed to improving the lives of those I support, promoting their independence, and providing person centered care. My strong passion in assisting people is supported by my professional background, I hold a bachelors in psychology and a masters of social work as well as a certificate in art therapy (would love to do some art therapy together if this interests you). My other experience includes working as a healthcare social worker as well as over 6 years experience working with children as a scouts counsellor and holiday program and birthday party facilitator. In my free time I enjoy painting and ceramics and anything that has to do with getting crafting and getting creative. I'm also a big fan of the outdoors – I love taking walks, exploring new spots, and checking out cool coffee shops and restaurants.
