About

I wanted to become a Social Carer because I am passionate about providing high quality support that meets the needs of diverse individuals. My experience in roles that prioritise communication, organisation, and problem-solving has equipped me to deliver effective and personalised assistance. Working as an ABA Therapist for children and young adults has further deepened my understanding and skills in this field. I believe I will be good at this role because I am committed to fostering strong relationships through empathy, understanding, and a client-centred approach. My ability to connect with people and tailor support to their unique needs ensures meaningful and positive outcomes. Some of my hobbies include cooking, baking, filmmaking, and exploring movies, which fuel my creativity. I’m also passionate about animals, fitness and nutrition, as well as arts and crafts, where I enjoy hands-on projects. Reading and music round out my interests, offering both relaxation and inspiration. Furthermore, my background in health sciences with a focus on psychology and psychophysiology along with my experience as an ABA therapist and a disability support worker, has strengthened my analytical and interpersonal skills. This unique combination of creative passions and professional expertise allows me to approach challenges with both empathy and structured problem-solving. I am an empathetic and compassionate individual with a diverse background in health sciences, psychology, and psychophysiology, complemented by professional experience in disability support, and mental health. My work as an ABA Therapist and roles in customer service and administration have honed my interpersonal and organisational skills. I have practical knowledge in areas like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), motor impairments, acquired brain injury, anxiety, and depression, as well as experience with diverse cultural backgrounds and a passion for inclusivity (LGBTQIA+ friendly). Furthermore, I am committed to lifelong learning and supporting others, whether through my studies or hands-on roles in healthcare and community services.
