About

I’ve always been someone who likes helping people, and that comes from my upbringing. From a young age I’ve seen how even small support can make a big difference in someone’s life. I’ve also been involved in community-focused work like NSS and the Insaaf Awareness Movement, which made me realise how much I enjoy working directly with people who need support. The smiles, trust, and connection you get back from helping someone genuinely motivate me. That feeling is the biggest reward for me, and that’s what inspired me to become a Social Carer. • Helping others / volunteering – I’m passionate about supporting people in need, whether it’s through community work or daily acts of kindness. This also shows my skills in empathy, communication, and teamwork. • Reading / learning – I enjoy reading about mental health, social work, and personal development, which helps me improve my knowledge and problem-solving skills. • Fitness / sports – Staying active keeps me energetic and focused, and teaches me discipline and resilience, which are important skills for supporting clients. • Cooking / trying new foods – I enjoy cooking and experimenting with recipes, which reflects my creativity and ability to provide practical support in everyday life. • Comedy / watching stand-up – I love comedy because it helps me connect with people, spread positivity, and develop interpersonal skills.
