As a dedicated support worker, I am passionate about empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives. I have developed strong skills in communication, empathy, problem-solving I believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each person I assist. My goal is to encourage independence while providing compassionate care and self-advocacy. As a father of a ASD child I understand both the client and parent/guardian perspectives, this has strengthened my commitment to promoting well-being, dignity and enhancing the lives of those I assist. I believe in the importance of active listening and open communication, allowing me to connect with clients and understand their needs deeply. I am particularly proud of my work and creating supportive environments where individuals feel safe and valued I am always eager to learn and grow in my practice, ensuring I stay updated on best practices and innovative support techniques. In my free time, I enjoy being with family, outdoor adventures, gaming, being in the garden and cooking, which helps me bring a well-rounded perspective to my work I am looking forward to making a positive impact in the lives of those I support. Getting outdoors fishing , gardening, gaming , all rounder with skill base in this field suited for most situations former qualified plumber very handy and love to teach people new skills.
