My professional background has been about helping people in many ways, developing life skills, counselling, coaching and mentoring, to name a few. I have regarded it as a privilege, feeling rewarded by the results. My approach is one of empathy and kindness, providing help and encouragement. Having a friendly, happy manner I usually develop a connection quite quickly with most people. I believe my past experiences and skills are beneficial in a social carer role. I enjoy gym, the outdoors and follow most sports. Other interests include the arts, theatre, music etc. I also enjoy the company of young people who keep me in touch with their social media, music, games and other interests.
