I have worked in various role within this field but none give me more pleasure than working one on one with a client, experiencing the joy I can give with the simplest of assistance. Making someone else's day easier, better, more enjoyable is my motivation to return to my carer role. I am passionate about anything in the home, cooking, baking, gardening, organizing/decluttering. I enjoy spending time with new people listening to their history, their stories, assisting them to achieve whatever tasks they need to in their day to day lives, big or small, whatever is important and matters to them I want to help them achieve it. I have worked in aged care since 2020 and participated in all facets of support. I am a very empathetic person, an active listener, I am very environmentally aware and can prepare and plan for safety when I am with a client.
