I was motivated to become a Social Carer because I truly enjoy helping people live more comfortably and confidently. Through my work with All-in-One Support Services, I’ve supported elderly and disabled clients with home assistance and companionship. I’ve seen how a simple chat, shared laughter or help with daily tasks can make a big difference in someone’s life. I believe I will be good at this role because I’m empathetic, patient and dependable. I’ve worked with Australians of all ages and from many different cultural backgrounds and I connect easily with people through respect and understanding. My clients and supervisors have often described me as reliable, kind-hearted and someone who genuinely cares about others’ wellbeing. I’m passionate about helping people feel comfortable, respected and valued. I enjoy building relationships through genuine conversation and shared activities. In my spare time, I love spending time outdoors, going on short walks, listening to music and doing creative projects like designing laser-cut products. I’m also a practical and organised person. I plan my tasks carefully, stay punctual and take pride in keeping spaces clean and safe. Whether it’s helping with meal prep, joining clients for an outing or offering a friendly chat, I always try to bring positivity and calm energy to those around me. I have experience working with people from all walks of life, both young and old, Australian-born and multicultural. Being originally from Malaysia, I understand how important empathy, listening and respect are when connecting with others. I believe diversity brings warmth and understanding and I enjoy sharing stories and learning from the people I support. My background in customer service and facilities management also taught me to be responsible, adaptable and solution-focused. I approach every task with care and professionalism and I’m committed to continuously learning and growing in the community care field.
