I have an extensive background in allied health as well as health education and promotion. I am skilled in supporting people to develop and maintain positive routines, modifying or adapting environments and exploring strategies to reduce barriers or challenges to engaging in meaningful activities. I am committed to ensuring those I work with are at the center of all decisions and feel supported in advocating for what's important to them. My approach is flexible - it's important to me that the people I support feel valued, heard and understood. As an allied health practitioner, I am well equipped to support all areas daily living, community access, social inclusion and civic participation. I am trained in and utilise trauma-informed practices as well as neurodiverse-affirming approaches. Most importantly, I believe that everyone's experiences are unique and as such, there is not a 'one-size-fits-all' approach. I understand the importance of building rapport and I value trust and creating safe and comfortable spaces and relationships. I love all things food and cooking! I also enjoy the beach, hiking, working out, checking out fun events in the community, music and dogs.
