About
The reason I want to become a social worker is my passion for helping individuals, particularly those with disabilities, achieve greater independence. Society often underestimates the abilities of people with disabilities, labelling them as incapable. I’m motivated to challenge that stigma and empower individuals to realise their true potential. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone break through the “can’t do this” or “can’t do that” narrative and showing them that they absolutely can achieve their goals. I love the outdoors, fitness, fishing and anything that involves physical activities. I am very artistic with paint and pencil and adore doing makeup! Skills I possess, problem solver, tech-savvy, confident, self-driven and well-organised. Hobbies are drawing or going for lovely outdoor walks. I am currently in my final year as a student nurse, I hold current CPR, FIRST AID, and Blue and Yellow cards.
