About

I became a support carer because I genuinely enjoy helping people feel safe, supported and more confident in their daily lives. I’ve worked with a range of clients and I’ve seen how much of a difference reliable companionship, routine support and a calm, patient presence can make. I think I’m good at this work because I’m naturally warm, dependable and attentive. I build trust quickly, I respect people’s independence, and I’m comfortable with personal care as well as social and community support. Supporting people comes naturally to me and I take pride in creating a positive, uplifting experience for every client. I’m passionate about supporting people to live independently and enjoy their daily routines. I’ve always been drawn to roles that involve caring, listening and building genuine connections. My key skills include patience, clear communication, problem-solving and staying calm in busy or stressful situations. I’m confident with personal care, community support, daily living tasks and helping people feel comfortable and motivated. Outside of work, I enjoy Pilates, going to the gym, spending time with animals and being outdoors near the ocean. I like staying active, exploring new places and bringing a positive, uplifting energy into the people around me. I grew up in the Solomon Islands, where community and caring for others is a normal part of daily life. From a young age I helped look after family members, neighbours and animals, and that experience shaped my character. It taught me to be patient, resourceful, and genuinely compassionate. Today, those qualities show up in my work. I’m calm, grounded and able to make people feel safe and supported. I bring a warm, culturally aware approach, and I take pride in creating positive relationships with every person I care for.
