In my past career I came into roles that required me to help train new staff. When I look back I remember how much I enjoyed this part of the role and mentoring. When I decided to switch careers I had to think about the what next. What do I do. Looking back it was when I would help new staff transition into their role and being a mentor to them so I thought I'd look for something that had this in it's job role somewhat so I gave Disability Support Work a try,'Insoon realised it was something that I really enjoyed. I then did a brief stint as a Youth Worker in residential care which taught me some valuable skills, it provided some excellent training in TCI ( Therapeutic Crisi Intervention) which gave me the skills to best handle situation that may arise while working but also knowledge I can use in my everyday life. With a background in Aviation, I have exceptional customer service skills, a thorough eye for all things safety and I'm able to communicate clearly, all of which is valuable in the support worker role. I love all things aeroplanes. I have my Pilots License. I have 2 King Charles Cavaliers (Benny & The Jett) The beach. Warm weather Fun, easy going, professional when required but down to earth.
