I chose Social community work after seeing the benefits that are derived from assisting a person in need and the difference a carer can make in a person's life. ( in particular better social skills, sense of safety and security and enjoyment in achieving one’s goals) Gardening, however, doubt I will win any prizes! Cooking ...have the basics down pat, but an invitation to Masterchef is unlikely! Cleaning, moping, sweeping. Love the outdoors, Brisbane in particular has so many opportunities for all ages to get out and enjoy. Family gatherings are always important. Love reading about history and autobiographies. Enjoy music and arts and crafts Born and bred in Brisbane, married 5 kids ( hence why I was attracted to gardening to get out of the house) Spent way too long in the Banking/Finance Industry ( 45 years plus) I think I have a keen sense of humor, my kids beg to differ.
