Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. I am a dedicated, compassionate, client-focused Mental Health and Disability Support Carer with 30 years experience. Whether you need assistance with daily activities, would like some help getting out in the community or perhaps even learn some new skills? and have some fun, I am committed to helping you get the most out of your life and believe you are able to make your own choices no matter how large or small and I would love to support you in living your best life and to live your dreams. :-) I am passionate in regard to being a good role model and engaging in self care every day. I love to to go for walk out in nature, spend time with family and friends or curl up with a good book. I see myself as a people person, establishing rapport, trust and credibility with a diverse range of clients with an adaptable and personable style; listening actively, demonstrating empathy at all times. I hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Diploma of Community Services and a Diploma of Professional Counselling. An interesting fact about me is I have a very cheeky dog named Max who thinks he is a human and is leading his best life everyday :-) My other interesting fact is I have a love of motorbikes and enjoy a casual ride out in the country side.
