About
I wanted to become a Social Carer because I am most fulfilled when helping and supporting others. I consider myself to be highly compassionate and attentive to the needs of others and will go above and beyond to ensure that these needs are met. I also enjoy conversing and getting to know others, always willing to lend an ear to problems and provide guidance or insight where I can. My personality is laid back, positive and good-humored. I believe that moments of levity and positivity are essential to life and do my best to project these qualities. My approach to support work is based on building healthy relationships with my clients where I can act as both an aide and companion. My passion in life is mental health and I hope to pursue a career in clinical psychology. I believe that there is an increasing need for psychological services and I'd like to contribute to positive mental health outcomes. In my own time I enjoy sports like rock climbing, tennis and running. I also enjoy cooking and have, in my opinion, become quite good at it. I love to try new recipes and cook for others. I appreciate a wide variety of movies, music and art and enjoy discussing and sharing these things.
