I am outgoing, friendly and have a positive attitude and outlook on life. I enjoy caring for people, helping others and ensuring people are treated equally and given the opportunity to participate in activities they enjoy and reach there goals. I have over 12 months experience assisting wheelchair users and people with mental health problems, epilepsy and type II diabetes. I currently provide social support and transport for NDIS participants living independently and there children. In the past I have provided personal cares and social support for clients with high and complex needs in Single Independent Living Homes, Short Term Accommodation and Aged Care Facilities. In the past I was a full time live in carer for my mother whom had Multiple Myeloma and Secondary Metastatic Breast Cancer for 4 years. I raised a child with whom has disabilities and assisted family members in the past whom had Dementia and an Acquired Brain Injury. I pride myself on being an advocate for my clients and going the extra mile to meet their needs and ensure they feel included, happy and safe.
