About

My venture started with looking for a new career pathway, I am a freelance hairdresser which is where my heart lays with caring for each individual who sits in my chair but unfortunately it is not a consistent income. Support work has been recommended to me by multiple different people who believe it is work that would align well with me. I am a loyal, consistent and reliable person and I understand the importance of continuity of care. I am deeply empathetic and am always looking for ways to bring joy to and uplift the people in my orbit. I look forward to being able to build a positive relationship and offer stable, fulfilling care to the people I am entrusted with. Most of my passions consist of being active in and giving my time to the community. I volunteer with Hair Aid where I provide free services to those who can’t afford them. Before having my two little girls I enjoyed volunteering at my church in the Sunday School. Most of my hobbies involve my girls, we spend lots of time out and about visiting parks and library’s engaging in different community programs, Visiting the strawberry farm, animal farms or carnivals & circuses. When I’m not on mum duty I enjoy getting out into nature doing walks/hikes to beautiful waterfalls. Going to the beach, nice cafes or different events in the community. Most of my “skills” consist of practical life skills like, maintaining a routine and a clean home, making and getting to appointments on time, regularly running errands and managing the constant “to-do” list ensuring all the needs of my family are met. Being a hairdresser has taught me many valuable lessons and has refined my skills in quick problem solving, active listening, and catering services to the individuals needs.
