I was motivated to become a social carer because I enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. I find it very rewarding to support others and see them feel happier and more confident. I believe I will be good at this role because I am kind, patient, and a good listener. I try to understand people’s needs and find ways to help them feel valued. I also enjoy learning new skills and working closely with others, which I think is important for being a great social carer. My passion is working with people, which is why I started studying to become an Allied Health Assistant. I have completed most of my studies, and only my placements are left. I want to become a support worker, and after finishing my Allied Health Assistant course, I plan to complete a support worker and disability course.
