About
I love spending time with children and supporting others to do what makes them happy. I grew up with a brother who was six years younger than myself. Throughout my childhood and teenage years I loved caring for him playing with him and helping him with his homework. This love for helping others has continued into my adulthood and motivated me to begin study in Primary Education. I believe a job as a carer will allow me to develop my skills of communicating and caring for others which will benefit me in my future carrier as a teacher. I am passionate about being a Social Carer and am looking forward to getting to know new people having the opportunity to help support these people in their lives and in what they enjoy doing. One of my favourite hobbies is to bake, and one thing I love to bake and share with others is cookies. This year for Christmas, I baked 6 batches of gingerbread cookies with my family. We spent an entire day in the kitchen together mixing, rolling, cutting, and decorating the dough to create 4 gingerbread houses and over 100 cookies that we shared with our community.
