About
My motivation to become a social carer stems from a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I have always been driven by the opportunity to support individuals who may be facing physical, emotional, mental, or social challenges. The ability to help others maintain dignity and independence in their daily lives is profoundly rewarding to me. With my three years experiences as a teacher way back home in the Philippines and 3 years disability support worker here in Australia equipped me to deal diverse needs of my possible participants. In addition, s a disability support worker I have an experience in both direct supports and management aspect of the disability sector, which give me a better perspective in the delivery of quality individualised support. I consider myself as a foodie that is why I love cooking. I am also inclined to sports such as mountain biking and basketball. Moreover, during my leisure times I usually watch movies, play board games, and cards with friends.
