About

Hello! My name is Emma, I'm 21 years old and currently in my fourth year studying Occupational Therapy. I’ve always had a strong passion for helping others, especially when it comes to supporting them to engage in activities that bring them joy and a sense of purpose. I have over four years of experience in support work and have been fortunate to work with individuals with a range of backgrounds and lived experiences. Throughout university, I’ve also gained valuable practical skills and knowledge during placements in both community and clinical settings, which has further shaped my approach to person-centred care. Outside of my studies and support work, I’m a rhythmic gymnast and have been coaching gymnastics for the past six years. This has given me a strong foundation in building trust, promoting confidence, and creating fun, safe, and structured environments for children to learn and grow. As both an allied health student and experienced support worker, I bring a blend of compassion, creativity, and evidence-based thinking to the work I do. I'm committed to building genuine connections with the people I support, and love finding ways to make everyday activities more meaningful and enjoyable. I look forward to the opportunity to share my passions and support others to live fulfilling, empowered lives!
