About

I wanted to become a Social Carer because I genuinely believe in supporting people who need extra help to live with dignity, independence, and joy. I’ve spent many years working as a special education teacher and tutor, helping children and adults with disabilities. Through this work, I’ve developed deep compassion, patience, and strong communication skills. I know how to adapt support to meet individual needs, whether that's through conversation, physical assistance, or just being a calm, reliable presence. I find meaning in making someone’s day easier, safer, or more enjoyable — even in small ways. I love helping others learn and grow. I’m skilled at communicating with people who have complex needs, and I’m always looking for ways to bring positivity and structure into their day. Outside of work, I enjoy meditation, gardening, DIY renovation, and spending time with my family. I’m passionate about building genuine relationships, listening deeply, and being dependable for those who rely on me. I’m a qualified special education teacher with over 20 years of experience supporting people with disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and complex communication needs. I also hold qualifications in Community Services and Disability Support. I'm calm under pressure, highly reliable, and I take pride in being someone families can trust. I speak both English and Vietnamese, and I understand the importance of cultural respect and clear communication. My goal is always to make people feel safe, valued, and respected in every interaction.
