My name is Nadia. I have 2 children, 3 cats, and a dog. I live in West Pennant Hills. I hold a Certificate III in Individual Support for Disability, which has provided me with a thorough theoretical foundation and practical skills essential for effective support work. I have up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification. I've been a support worker for over 5 years. I have my own car. I am very passionate about support work as my son has ADHD and my Aunty has Alzheimer’s, therefore I have personal & professional experience in this role. I have also been working with multiple clients with Dementia, Parkinsons', MS, supporting clients with physical disabilities, and visually impaired clients. My work Responsibilities are varies depending on the client's support needs: Supporting Dementia clients by accompanying the client so they have a more enjoyable experience. Prevent Wandering and keeping the client safe. Supporting persons with physical disabilities, Parkinson's, MS, and Visually impaired clients with their routines like shopping, cooking, household duties, personal care, taking them to appointments, to any activities they love to do, and getting them out into the community e.g. theatres, church, cinema, and work events. I am friendly, reliable, have a great sense of humor, enthusiastic, and positive person who is passionate about helping people of all ages to reach their potential while building strong relationships along the way, whilst having fun at the same time. I am also open to new experiences and challenges. I always aim to make sure they feel comfortable, respected, and well-cared for. Looking forward to working with you together.
