About

I want to become a social carer because I genuinely care about helping others and making a difference in their lives. I value compassion, inclusivity, and empathy, and I believe these qualities are crucial in providing the best care. My experiences in nursing have shown me the importance of person-centred care, and I feel that social care is a natural extension of that mindset. It's about listening, understanding, and responding to the unique needs of each individual, and I truly believe I can bring that to the role. I also find fulfillment in knowing that I can be there for people during some of the most challenging times in their lives, offering them support and respect. Having worked in customer-facing roles at McDonald's and Ampol, I've learned how to interact with people from all walks of life, and I believe those skills will help me connect with individuals in a social care setting. Ultimately, I see social care as an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on others, to give them a voice, and to help them maintain their dignity. It’s about supporting people in a way that respects who they are and what they need, and I’m motivated to be part of that process. Some of my passions revolve around helping others, which ties into my interest in social care and nursing. I’m deeply passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives, particularly in vulnerable or challenging situations. I believe in the power of compassion, empathy, and inclusivity, which are values I hold close to my heart and that drive both my personal and professional goals. I also have a strong interest in learning and education, which led me to pursue nursing and to create educational content through my YouTube channel, Academy. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas, offering support, and helping others learn, which is why I'm so dedicated to developing resources like the NCLEX-RN teaching bot at Academy. As for hobbies, I’m currently training in boxing as a beginner. It’s something I find both challenging and rewarding, helping me stay disciplined and focused. Fitness is something I value, as it not only improves my physical health but also my mental well-being. Another hobby I enjoy is writing. Whether it’s academic work, creating content, or just reflecting on my personal experiences, I find that writing helps me process thoughts and express my ideas clearly. My strong writing skills also come in handy for various tasks, whether it’s crafting a reflective essay or building lesson plans. Overall, my passions, skills, and hobbies are centered around helping others, continual learning, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They all tie together and reinforce my desire to make a positive impact in the world. I believe a big part of who I am lies in my ability to empathize with others and my dedication to personal growth. I’m always striving to improve myself, whether it's through learning new skills, pursuing my passions, or reflecting on my experiences. My background in nursing and education gives me a unique perspective on the importance of providing person-centred care, and I’m committed to fostering an environment where people feel respected and heard. One of my core strengths is my communication skills. I have a knack for explaining things clearly, which is why I enjoy both teaching and learning from others. Whether it's helping a friend understand a concept or creating educational materials for Academy, I find fulfillment in sharing knowledge and encouraging growth in those around me. Additionally, I am a strong advocate for inclusivity. I believe that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. This is something I strive to incorporate into my everyday interactions, both personally and professionally. Lastly, my determination and strong work ethic have always pushed me to take on new challenges, whether it’s training for boxing or balancing my studies with work. I approach everything with the same level of commitment and focus, always aiming to do my best and learn along the way. Overall, I am someone who is deeply committed to making a difference, constantly improving, and using my skills and passions to positively impact the lives of others.
