I have been working as carer the last 12 years. I love each day. I believe I am a great social worker because I don t see it as just a job. It fulfills my life. It makes my day when I make a difference in someone else’s life.^& ^&Depends what the individual needs and his goal is. If the individual finds it hard in the community. We start to go places where they are not crowded. And show him that I understand him and that is fine if he feels a bit anxious. As it is an emotion. And make him understand that emotions are part of life. Than we he/she start to adequate a bit. I ll make suggestions of what he or she would like to do , maybe aqua golf or going to a library or a movie. Until the person will start feeling that he or she can be part of the society. ^&
