Hi, my name is Bee, I hold a very strong sense of social responsibility and this has guided my actions over the years, both in the community and within my own circles of friends. Recognising that satisfaction and giving yield their own rewards. I have voluntarily given my time in providing private tuition to school age children as well as driving senior citizens to attend their doctor appointments, conduct their weekly shopping activities, etc. Domestically, I have raised my two children to become moral and ethically-minded adults. I also provided significant nursing care to my elderly mother, even travelling overseas to deliver this. In a world so frequently bereft of caring and love, I believe that in actively tending to the needs of the elderly, the vulnerable and less fortunate, I am making a small contribution to the better enjoyment by others. In an ideal world I would be afforded more of the time, resources and assistance required to grow the number of people benefitting from simple caring actions. A favourite quote of mine is: “We are who we choose to be.” - The Green Goblin. I like this quote and it inspired me because it’s about creating who you are and choosing what you can be in the future. So many of us have unfortunate circumstances but we are only limited by how hard we are willing to try and persevere through hardship. We choose to be who we become by committing and creating our own future through the choices we make and the things we choose to do. We are limitless. The only true limit to our abilities is what we believe them to be.
