I spent many years working as a professional chef and as much as I liked it I felt there was always something 'more' I wanted to do. After going to live in Darwin in my late 20' early 30's and playing AFL - and then working for AFLNT for a year in a remote indigenous community, I knew I wanted to be of service to people less privileged - 'fortunate' than me, so I went and did a bachelor degree in Social Work before going on to do a post-grad Dip in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I still love to cook - just not as a career, so that's an ongoing passion of mine. I love sports, namely AFL, cricket, NRL, tennis, soccer, so too watching them/going to live games where I can. I like to swim in the ocean and stay fit. I love the arts particularly film, music, books. I'm a very reliable person, always punctual and on time. I'm creatively minded so perhaps like to help in terms of community engagement/respite care - but so too domestic assistance regarding food prep etc. With my background in social work, and counselling in particular, I'm naturally able/happy to talk as a means of providing care & support.
